Charter fishing on the Endeavor, Trip #1

Dreaming of Tuna
Driving down to Seaforth Landing, the thoughts of previous adventures and their successes ring though your head. Just when your excitement begins to flare you remember the time you were "skunked" and you seem to come back to reality.

Making bait and rigging up.

Find the right sized hook, Flouro or no flouro? That is the question!

People are talking about what to expect, hoping for big bluefin. we had the bait and the spots, but like always it's not always going to go the way you think.

I talked to the Second, Andy but he wouldn't guess, besides it was hard to pay attention as He was grinding down a sandwich as we spoke!

Don seemed hopeful as we spoke and caught up a bit with what was happening in life between tuna trips.

Joseph was ready and felt like we were going to catch, although he seemed just as happy just being on the boat . We get busy and the down time is a blessing. Catching fish is like whipped cream on the cupcake!

Stuart and Mike catch up, and talk story.
Kohei brought bento so he didn't say much at first.

Rito, Jose, and trent check out our newly acquired bait, and and they approve!

Stacey came ready!
Nile and Son "Jack Pot" getting ready.
As the trip began everyone was excited, but we all hit the bunks and dreamt of TUNA!

Early morning trolling and an early morning Jig Strike! we started off well and the fish steadily bit!

Happy Birthday Bill!

Camera ready Nile, can't wait to see some footage!

By evening we had steadily caught some fish!

Kohei giving him the run down!

New Morning, ready to make a chum line.

Frank and Bill working the Jigs on a patty stop. Yellowtail and yellowfin tuna hiding under the shade of Kelp!

Yellowfin Tuna on the Skip jig!

Nile finesses on to the surface

Gotcha!

Getting out there to get another!

yeehaw

Sun burnt, achy, can barely stand, but I gotta a smile on my face, and tuna in the sack!

Hurry dad their heavy!

Kohei likes it!

Like Father Like Son
Congrats to Don, Jack Pot winner Day two!

Mike all smiles!

Fillet time!
Congrats to Lou Jack pot winner day one!

All together we had a great time. Everyone came home with fish, everyone went home with that "good trip" feeling. Hope to see y'all soon. Maybe back on the Endeavor again! Thanks for checking the Blog!
