Fishing in La Paz

Robin"s Rooster Fish

I thought I'd do justice to the blurb about Jonathan and fishing with him. These are the photo's of our last visit.Yes, the fish are biting, even I caught fish!

Yellowtail on the yo-yo jig in 30" of water!

Sailfish on live bait.
This has been a full week! Working at Asher Guitars, Fishing on the New Del Mar on Friday and Saturday mornings, late night at the emergency room for my wife's asthma (she is fine, and recovering well) until 2am, then the time change on Sunday and off to work the Fred Hall Fishing show for Alaska Action Adventures with John Ferrell (the previous owner of the Marina Del Rey landing). He Has an impressive lodge near Homer and fishes for Salmon, Rock fish, and of course giant Halibut! Unfortunately My photo's of our booth didn't come out well enough to post, but you can check his place out at the link below.

Every year I enjoy going to the Show especially to see my cousin, Jonathan Roldan and his wonderful spouse Jilly (pictured above). The hardest working fisherman I have ever known. I wish I could get away to fish with him more often. He is so adamant about his clients having a good and safe time he has pulled his hair out (hence the hat). People normally joke about the wife "I don't know what she sees in him", but I can't here cuz Jonathan is probably one of the nicest and most sincere person I know. That's how he nabbed such a great gal!
